Shah Rukh Khan "Feeling Much Better, Will Soon Be Cheering in IPL Finals," Says Juhi Chawla

 Shah Rukh Khan's recent hospitalization has drawn significant attention due to his massive fan following. On Tuesday, while attending the KKR vs SRH IPL match in Ahmedabad, Shah Rukh Khan suffered a heat stroke and dehydration, which led to his admission to KD Hospital. The extreme heat, with temperatures soaring to 45 degrees Celsius, contributed to his condition.

His wife, Gauri Khan, promptly visited him at the hospital. Longtime friend and business partner Juhi Chawla also visited to check on his health. Juhi Chawla, who co-owns the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) with Shah Rukh Khan, shared updates with the media. She reassured fans by stating that although Shah Rukh was unwell the previous night, he was feeling much better by the evening. She added that with continued care, he might soon return to support KKR during the upcoming finals.


The hospital has confirmed that Shah Rukh Khan is under continuous medical observation and that his condition is stable. Due to his immense popularity, security around KD Hospital has been significantly increased to ensure his safety and privacy during recovery.


Juhi Chawla and Shah Rukh Khan's friendship dates back to the early 90s when they co-starred in several hit films such as Darr and Yes Boss. Their professional relationship extended into business when they co-founded the production company Dreamz Unlimited, although it is now defunct. Their partnership continued with their joint investment in the IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), which has become one of the most popular teams in the league.


On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan had an exceptional year in 2023. He made a triumphant return to the big screen with the blockbuster Pathaan, sharing the screen with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.
