The much-anticipated release of "Crew," starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon, hit theaters with a bang last Friday. Industry tracker Sacnilk reported an impressive opening day collection of Rs 8.75 crore, coupled with a substantial 26.34 percent Hindi occupancy. Directed by Rajesh Krishnan, "Crew" boasts a unique premise, notably devoid of male leads in its main cast, although featuring supporting roles by Kapil Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh.

Launching just a day after "Aadujeevitham" and contending with "Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire King," "Crew" faced fierce competition. Despite this, it managed to hold its ground, raking in a commendable Rs 20.07 crore globally.
